In 2022, more than 5,500 volunteers contributed over 78,000 hours to civic engagement.

The City of Fort Collins (FC) Volunteer Program is designed to creatively engage people and their unique talents. When talent and passion are working together, the results are amazing. With that aim, the City promotes volunteer involvement to improve services and create community.
After you fill out a General Application, a FC Volunteer Services team member will personally reach out via vsp@fcgov.com to help understand how you can apply your time and talents with the City!
The FC Volunteer Services Team wants to feature individual volunteer experiences in our Volunteer Spotlight. Tell us why you love volunteering, what feelings of belonging that it provides you, what accomplishments you have fulfilled along the way, or anything else you'd like to share about your experience as a volunteer with the City.
