- Description:
As a Technology Upgrade Support Volunteer, you will work alongside the City’s Service Desk and Endpoint Management teams to help replace and configure outdated computer equipment across multiple City facilities. This hands-on role involves assisting with the preparation, imaging, deployment, and setup of new workstations to ensure City staff have reliable and secure technology.
Your contributions will play a vital role in advancing the City’s mission to deliver efficient and secure public services. By accelerating the deployment of upgraded systems, this position helps minimize downtime for staff, enhances system performance, and ensures all devices remain within current security and support standards. Up-to-date hardware not only safeguards the City’s digital infrastructure from vulnerabilities but also improves the day-to-day experience of employees serving our residents. - Responsibilities & Activities:
Assist the Service Desk and Endpoint teams replacing outdated equipment.
This position will help to accelerate deployment, reduce down time for staff and help keep the city secure by making sure we are on supported hardware.

10 hours per week or as available
