We are searching for a volunteer who has strong clerical, data entry, records management/scanning and customer service skills to help us with records digitization and backup front desk coverage for our Human Resources Department. The successful Volunteer has strong computer skills, including MS Office Suite and MS Teams, quick and accurate keyboarding, and the ability to learn new software applications.
We are working very hard to digitize and organize our paper files. It is a large project that we don't have staffing to cover so it would be tremendously impactful towards meeting our department goals. We have a strong desire to provide exceptional customer service Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00. Physical presence in the office to answer phones and greet visitors is critical. While it would take time to learn how to help the customer, simply being present and taking a message or reaching out to someone in our department will help us attain the level of customer service we strive to provide when we have a staffing gap.

Ideally at least 4 hours a week with the records work. Days and time are flexible, but it's best in large blocks of time, like 4 hours at once, due to the nature of the work. Office coverage at least once a month for 3 hours at a time. Additional office coverage needs are sporadic and only if volunteer is available.
