Join the garden club this year and volunteer in the Xeriscape Demonstration Gardens at City Hall while meeting new friends. We welcome gardeners of any level & no horticultural experience is necessary. While no special skills are required, the role will require bending, kneeling, and navigating uneven surfaces. We will have training on weed and plant ID, pruning, seed collection and gardening for wildlife. Children are welcome with a chaperone. Gloves and tools are provided. Volunteer days will be on weekly or biweekly on weekday mornings. Our volunteer seasons runs from May through October. Please wear pants, close toed shoes and bring a bottle of water and sunscreen.
