Last year’s installation brought color and energy to this intersection, but subsequent utilities work replaced parts of the street surface, leaving sections of the artwork damaged. This refresh is our chance to restore the intersection while also updating the design with culturally informed imagery developed in consultation with the Northern Arapaho Tribe (Hinono’eiteen). Volunteers will work side by side with the artist and project team to put paint to pavement, so come ready to roll! We’ll provide hand and eye protection, along with snacks, water, and shade. Volunteers should be prepared for physical activity including bending, kneeling and stooping for much of their shift. No artistic experience necessary, just a willingness to help create a community canvas. This opportunity is open to volunteers age 15 and older.
