Help us bring new life to the Canyon, Magnolia, Sherwood intersection as we refresh one of Fort Collins’ signature asphalt art installations! Join FC Moves and artist Jess Bean in repainting this community space with a new design featuring imagery in consultation with the Arapaho Tribe (Hinono’eiteen). More details to come. Volunteers will work side by side with the artist and project team to put paint to pavement, so come ready to roll! We’ll provide hand and eye protection, along with snacks, water, and shade. Volunteers should be prepared for physical activity including bending, kneeling and stooping for much of their shift. No artistic experience necessary, just a willingness to help create a community canvas. This opportunity is open to volunteers age 15 and older.
