The Annual Historic Homes Tour is Poudre Landmark Foundation's major annual fundraiser. In 2025, the City is co-sponsoring the event in various ways, including providing staff/volunteers at one of the historic properties on the tour schedule: the Watson-Sarchet House on West Mountain Avenue. Volunteers will need to attend one pre-event trainings (a short City-conducted training about education volunteering in general), and will receive additional information from City staff and Poudre Landmarks Foundation staff about the specific tasks and historical concepts to present on the day of the tour. Tasks will include ticket checking, helping convey important information to tour-goers about the specific property, and answering questions from tour-goers. Volunteers receive a complimentary ticket to visit the other properties on the tour opposite the shift you sign up for (morning or afternoon).
