Trevor Michael and Jo Asker bring a dynamic and diverse musical experience to their audience. Originally from Louisville, KY, Trevor Michael blends his bluegrass roots with the indie-folk vibe of Northern Colorado. After moving to Colorado to study Finance at CSU, Trevor spent six years in banking before leaving to pursue music professionally. His sound is a unique mix of mountain-folk with raw bluegrass vocals, reminiscent of Chris Stapleton and The Avett Brothers. Trevor has released two EPs: his debut, Midsummer Eve, in 2020, followed by Aquila and the Lion in 2023. His single "Fat Tire" captures the essence of a bonfire gathering with close friends. Jo Asker, a prolific performer in the Colorado music scene, is known for his versatile upright bass playing that seamlessly integrates into various settings, whether as a sideman or a featured artist. Jo's characteristic sound enriches ensembles ranging in style from jazz and bluegrass to funk and eclectic bands. Together, Trevor and Jo promise an unforgettable musical performance that merges eclectic, jazz-infused bass lines with heartfelt, bluegrass-inspired mountain-folk melodies.
