Volunteer Notes

Meet at the Info Table. Tabling volunteers: Provide visitor information and stewardship best-practices at the trailhead of Poudre Trail! Two volunteers will staff a table at the trailhead with a variety of brochures, maps, touchable items, children's activities, and updated weather/educational information. Opportunities will exist for providing short guided walks to look at plants, animals, geology, and help visitors learn about the cultural heritage of the area. This position makes you the ambassador for our public lands and is a critical part of both educating and inspiring future stewards of the Fort Collins Natural Areas. Other Volunteers: Activities will include parking lot management, set up and take down of tables, ushering folks to facilities such as water and restrooms, helping with activities and entertainment, and much much more! Please bring reusable water bottles. Water stations will be available throughout the event. Light snacks will be provided.
