- Description:
- Join us this summer in the Xeriscape Demonstration Gardens at City Hall to learn about plants, irrigation and maintaining the gardens. We welcome folks of all abilities, no horticultural experience is necessary. Children are welcome with a chaperone. Gloves, tools and snacks are provided.
- Responsibilities & Activities:
- garden maintenance including planting, weeding, transplanting, seeding and irrigation
- growing plants from seeds for the garden and to give away at community events
- seed collections and cleanings to prep for the Native Seed Swap
- Time Commitment:
- Volunteer days will be weekly or biweekly on weekday mornings. Our volunteer seasons runs from mid-March through November.
