We welcome adult volunteers of all abilities, no horticultural experience necessary. Gloves, tools and water are provided. While no special skills are required, the role will require bending, kneeling, stooping and navigating uneven surfaces.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous gardening or horticultural experience is desired, but not required.
- Adults only (18+) due to the location adjacent to busy streets and the transit center.
Interests:
- Gardening
- Working outside
- Environment
- History
Training offered: A kickoff training session will take place in late April to train volunteers on responsibilities and primary activities. Volunteers who join after the training session can be trained individually in the garden.
