Natural Discoveries - Mixed Ages

Discover fascinating ecological links in this dynamic life zone. Learn about the ecological connections between the prairie, shrublands and ponderosa pine forests. 1 mile; easy. Please bring water, lunch, sun protection, and closed-toe shoes. Location: Pineridge Natural Area, meet at the west parking lot. Do not park at Maxwell for this program. Due to parking lot crowding carpooling is STRONGLY encouraged.

David was a High School Biology teacher in Appleton, WI for 34 years. He then worked as a part time seasonal University of Wisconsin Extension Horticulture agent for a decade and moved to Fort Collins in 2011. He is in his twelfth year of being a Naturalist Volunteer.
