Sumérgete en la rica tradición mexicana del Día de Muertos mientras celebramos esta festividad ancestral que honra a nuestros seres queridos que ya no están con nosotros físicamente, pero que siguen viviendo en nuestros corazones y recuerdos. Cuándo: Viernes 25 de octubre, 5:30p.m. - 7:00p.m. Donde: 1745 Hoffman Mill Road Descripción del programa: En esta noche especial, compartiremos pan de muerto alrededor de una fogata, para disfrutar en compañía de amigos y familiares. ¡Ven personificado de Catrina o Catrín! Evento apto para todas las edades. Direcciones: Granja Nix (Oficina de Áreas Naturales), 1745 Hoffman Mill Road Dirígete hacia el norte por Lemay desde Riverside y gira a la derecha en Poudre River Drive (aproximadamente a ½ cuadra al norte de Riverside). Está ubicado entre dos edificios médicos. Después de aproximadamente 1 cuadra, Poudre River Drive termina y verás un camino pavimentado a tu derecha que es Hoffman Mill Road. Permanece en esee camino pavimentado durante casi una milla (más allá de las instalaciones de trituración). El camino termina en nuestras oficinas. Accesibilidad: El programa se lleva a cabo en un anillo de fogata pavimentado y es accesible para sillas de ruedas. Baños accesibles disponibles. Programa presentado en español. ********************************************************************************************************************** Immerse yourself in the rich Mexican tradition of Day of the Dead as we celebrate this ancestral festivity that honors our loved ones who are no longer with us physically, but who continue to live on in our hearts and memories. When: Friday, October 25, 5:30p.m. - 7:00p.m. Where: Nix Farm (Natural Areas Office), 1745 Hoffman Mill Road Go north on Lemay from Riverside and turn right on Poudre River Drive (about ½ block north of Riverside). This is located between two medical buildings. After about 1 block, the Poudre River Drive ends and you will see a paved road to your right which is Hoffman Mill Road. Stay on this paved road for almost a mile (past the crushing facility). The road ends at our offices. Program Description: On this special night, we will share "pan de muerto" bread around a campfire, to enjoy friendship and family. Come dressed as Catrina or Catrín! All ages welcome. Accessibility: Program takes place in a paved campfire ring and is wheelchair accessible. Accessible restrooms available. What to Bring: Dress appropriately for the weather forecast. Bring sunscreen and insect repellent, a chair or blanket a a water bottle. I am a veterinarian as well as a retired PSD science and physical education teacher. I served a total of twenty years on the Parks and Recreation board.
