Volunteer Appreciation
All City of Fort Collins Volunteers and their families are welcome to join us to celebrate a year full of accomplishments! This year we are combining the City Employee Picnic and Volunteer Appreciation Picnic as a way to show that we are all united on one team--Team Fort Collins! By combining efforts we are able to provide an even bigger and better event. Enjoy free access to City Park and City Park Pool, join our Employee/Volunteer fun run, choose delicious food from one of 10 food trucks. Listen to live music, enjoy games and challenge yourself on one of the new outdoor adventure activities. We are all part of one City, it's time to have one celebration! This is a BYOB (Bring Your Own water Bottle) and Zero Waste Event! Water stations will be available. The Trolley will be available for rides and shuttles. You can park downtown and pick up the Trolley at Mountain.We also encourage you to bike if you can! Please note that this year we are looking for some volunteer assistance with the event. Your enjoyment is our top priority so only sign up to volunteer if you have extra time to give. If you do chose to volunteer, sign up for volunteer time slot AND register as a participant with your appropriate number of guest.

I am a Public Engagement Specialist with the City of Fort Collins Natural Areas and I organize community programs, programs by request and interpretive communications like signs and brochures. I'm excited to be back in Fort Collins again after being gone for 15 years. My favorite things to talk about are conservation issues, conservation research and raptors!! The black blur in the profile photo is my cattle dog. She never stops moving!

Charlotte Norville has spent the last 15 years in volunteer management, public engagement, and communications. She worked for the City of Fort Collins for 10 years, at the Gardens on Spring Creek, FC Volunteer program, and Natural Areas. She is a Certified Volunteer Administrator, Certified Interpretive Trainer, and IAP2 professional. Charlotte currently works for Squarei Technologies, where she is a Product Specialist for Offero (Engage).
