Budding Young Naturalists

This activity is in partnership with the Fort Collins Museum of Discovery "Nature All Around Us" Exhibit! Please stop by the museum to check out the exhibit and learn more about the natural world that surrounds us. When: Friday, August 15th 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Where: Fort Collins Museum of Discovery indoor classroom, followed by a walk along the Poudre Trail. Activity Description: Our backyards and urban parks teem with wildlife. Discover some fun facts about local animals, and explore why they have adapted so well to living alongside people. Learn some do’s and don’ts for keeping them safe, and play a game of backyard bingo. What to Bring: Bring water, insect repellant, sunscreen and binoculars. We will have extra binoculars for those who need them. Dress for the weather and bring plenty of water. Accessibility: We will be hiking along the ADA compliant Poudre River Trail, flat.
