On-Bike Class - 12 +
Smart Cycling is a course for moderately experienced, returning and seasoned cyclists alike that will give you the confidence to ride safely and legally in traffic or on the trail. In the Road Skills portion of Smart Cycling you will learn how to conduct bicycle safety checks, on-bike handling skills and crash avoidance techniques. Participants will practice bicycle handling skills in a parking lot setting followed by a ride on city streets and trails. We recommended this class for adults and youth above age 14 (ages 12-14 can be accepted upon instructor approval). A helmet and bicycle in good working condition are required. A water bottle is recommended.
