Have you ever wondered what’s inside Old Town’s painted power boxes—or how public art and essential city services come together? Join us for a 90-minute guided tour and discussion highlighting the connection between Fort Collins Utilities and the Art in Public Places (APP) program. The event begins at 222 Laporte Avenue, where representatives from Light & Power and APP will share insights into how our community benefits from reliable utility services and innovative public art. Following the discussion, participants will enjoy a one-mile walking tour through Old Town, stopping to explore several APP installations and learn more about the role utilities play in keeping our city running smoothly. This is a unique opportunity to gain a deeper appreciation for both the infrastructure that powers our community and the creativity that brings it to life. Come curious, leave inspired—and see Old Town in a whole new light!
