Natural Areas After Dark

The LGBTQ+ Summer 2025 activity series is lead in partnership by Natural Areas, Larimer County Natural Resources, and volunteers. These programs are intended to be a safe and welcoming space for members of the LGBTQIA+ community, allies are welcome. Explore the wonders of nature while connecting with your community. Where: Nix Farm (Natural Areas Office), 1745 Hoffman Mill Road Go north on Lemay from Riverside and turn right on Poudre River Drive (about ½ block north of Riverside). This is located between two medical buildings. After about 1 block, the Poudre River Drive ends and you will see a paved road to your right which is Hoffman Mill Road. Stay on this paved road for almost a mile (past the crushing facility). The road ends at our offices. When: Thursday May 8th, 6:00 - 8:00p.m. Program Description: Spend a cozy evening by the campfire, complete with stories and savory s’mores! These programs are suitable for all ages. Learn about the LGBTQ+ Summer 2025 activity series lead in partnership by Natural Areas, Larimer County Natural Resources, and volunteers. What to Bring: Dress appropriately for the weather forecast. Bring sunscreen and insect repellent.
