The Valley Loop Trail is being extended! This new trail will be called Elk Meadow, and will be officially opening to the public later this fall. To have it ready for opening, we need your help to finish building it! This volunteer opportunity will involve active, manual work smoothing out and finishing the new trail, including raking and moving material and preventing erosion. To Bring: Sturdy, closed toed shoes, water bottle, long sleeves and pants, and sun protection. Work gloves, all tools, and snacks will be provided. Meet at the Bobcat Ridge volunteer parking lot (just past the regular parking lot, behind the ranger house) and carpool if you can!
