Sustainable Landscape Series: Xeriscaping for Shade

One of the most common challenges in Fort Collins is gardening in the shade. We love our trees, and creating a garden in shady oasis doesn’t have to be difficult. In this class we will focus on shade: how to increase light with selective pruning, keep your trees healthy and choose appropriate plants for dry shade. An arborist from the City Forestry team will join to answer questions on how to keep your trees healthy when installing low-water gardens around them.
