The City of Fort Collins is hosting a regional trails summit on September 26, 2024 to convene Northern Colorado trail development agencies, partners, advocates, user groups, and supporters in celebration of the City’s forthcoming Strategic Trails Plan and the exceptional regional paved trail system that our communities enjoy. We will reflect on the history of trail development in the region and look to the future of paved trails through presentations from regional speakers, including Alex Castino, North Front Range Program Officer for Great Outdoors Colorado, Beth Bullard, Assistant Director for the Cache La Poudre River National Heritage Area; and an inspirational keynote address by Chuck Flink, author of the Greenway Imperative, and award-winning trail planner and landscape architect. The Northern Colorado Trails Summit will also include an exhibition hall with designated time for attendees to visit exhibitors, socialize, and network while enjoying complimentary light appetizers and a cash bar provided by the Rio Grande. You and your agency, department, or organization are invited to participate as an exhibitor to showcase your group’s recent or upcoming projects, expand awareness of your organization and mission, and contribute to the knowledge-sharing and all-around good vibes at the Summit! Date: Thursday, September 26, 2024 Schedule: 4:30-6:00pm; Exhibition and networking 6:00–7:30pm; Regional Presentations and Keynote Speaker    7:30-8:00pm; Networking Location: The Agave Room at Rio Grande Restaurant (149 W Mountain Ave, Fort Collins, CO 80524) Equipment Provided: 6ft. folding table and two chairs Please respond with your commitment to participate as an exhibitor (1-2 participants from each agency) by August 14 to Taylor Broyhill at [email protected]. There is no cost to participate. Each exhibitor table can be staffed by two personnel representing your agency or organization. Additional coordination and details will be provided once you confirm your participation.
