CancelHello! Things I love: nature, outdoor recreation, outdoor education, sunshine, science, exploration, wildlife, smiling, camping, hiking, and more. In addition to volunteering with Natural Areas I also work at the National Park Service and REI.
I am a single father of a 14 year old daughter. I am a CSU graduate with a degree in Computer Information Systems. I love the outdoors, especially in the warm weather months. My interests include: hiking, mountain biking, photography, and astronomy.
I am a retired teacher having left after 38 years teaching in NW Indiana. My wife and I cmoved here summer of 2017. I've always enjoyed being in natural environments and have a strong desire to take care of them. I love hiking and learning new things. I see natural environments and our connections to them as essential to our well being as people and communities. All that makes us fully human, I believe, finds its richest expression when we connect regularly to natural areas
