Volunteer to help plant shrubs at Cathy Fromme Natural Area! Folks from the CO Prairie Initiative are partnering with the Natural Areas to help mitigate Russian Olive on the site. Staff will remove the invasive species and volunteers are needed to help plant shrubs in its place. We will be meeting at 9am at the West Parking lot at Cathy Fromme Natural Area. Please feel free to bike or carpool. We will work from 9-11:30 and then enjoy lunch! Please come prepared to work outside. We recommend wearing layers, sunglasses, a hat and long pants. Please bring a water bottle, and any other items to make you comfortable. There will also be water, snacks and sunscreen. No experience necessary - Snake chaps, gloves and all tools/safety equipment will be provided.Maximum Participants: 15
