Natural Discoveries (Community Program)

Where: Bobcat Ridge Natural Area. Meet in pavilion 0.25 miles from parking lot. Activity Description: Learn about mountain lions from the unique experiences of Volunteer Naturalist Mary Jean, who spent her career studying and tracking wild mountain lions, and who raised 3 baby mountain lions from 1 month old - 7 years old. Learn about mountain lion behavior, characteristics, habitat, and what to do if you encounter a mountain lion in the wild. Accessibility: ADA accessible paved path to pavilion. Accessible parking and restrooms available. This program does not involve a hike.
