Celebrate National Volunteer Month and help clean up one of your newest natural areas, Goose Hollow! This site needs a little love before it is ready for the public. Volunteers will be picking up trash, and removing vegetation- including the option to do clean-up via kayak! Volunteers are invited to help create a site sign that will welcome visitors. Child-friendly projects available.Thanks to Odell Brewing Company and United Way of Larimer County for project management support and volunteer appreciation! After all of your hard work, volunteers are invited to Odell's for refreshments! Free, registration required.

I'm a retired teacher with 44 years classroom experience. I love working with young people and supporting my community. For 15 years I also served on the Big Thompson Canyon Volunteer FD as a wild land and structure firefighter and member of the Rope Rescue Team. I live in a log home on Storm Mountain with my Bernese Mountain Dog, Murren. My four grandchildren enjoy hanging out in the hills with "Gram."
