Natural Discoveries (Community Program)

Where: Coyote Ridge Natural Area. Meet in the parking lot at 6:00 p.m. and hike with a volunteer naturalist 1 mile to the cabin. Program Description: Join Natural Areas and Rocky Mountain Raptor Program for a hike and live-bird presentation! Hike with a naturalist and learn more about the Coyote Ridge Ecosystem, and then hear from RMRP volunteers and staff as they teach us about the raptors that call the Front Range home. Program Schedule: 6:00 - 6:45 -participant arrival to parking lot and hike 1 mile to the cabin with volunteer naturalist 6:45 - 7:45 - RMRP presentation 7:45 - 8:30 - final questions, and hike back to parking lot What to Bring: Dress appropriately for the weather forecast. Bring sunscreen, a hat, closed-toe, sturdy shoes, and plenty of water.
