Stewardship Behind the Scenery (Community Program)
Where: Primrose Studio. Meet in the parking lot off of Michaud Lane. Program Description: Join volunteer naturalists on a 1-hour nature hike through the beautiful Reservoirs Ridge landscape. Then, walk 0.25 miles from the parking lot to Primrose Studio, a private event space with a rich history. Experience the magic of Primrose Studio, Natural Areas' secluded event venue within Reservoir Ridge Natural Area, with this private tour. Learn what makes this space special and the steps we take to protect and maintain it. Schedule: 6-7 p.m. - Hike with a Naturalist 7:15 - 8 p.m. Primrose Studio tour and presentation. Accessibility: Program takes place both in and out of doors and along uneven terrain and wide dirt roads. What to Bring: Dress appropriately for the weather forecast. Bring sunscreen, a hat, closed-toe shoes, and plenty of water. ___________________________________________________________________ People of all abilities and disabilities are welcome to participate in all programs and we are happy to make any appropriate accommodations. Theresa Martella is a retired environmental scientist who spent 36 years with the U.S. EPA, dedicated to protecting ecosystems and public health. She now spends her days hiking, riding horses, and deepening her relationship with the natural world. She enjoys helping others experience how nature calms the nervous system and restores balance. Blending scientific insight with lived, embodied practice, she guides people toward simple, nature-based ways of finding calm and resilience.
