Social Gardening - 16 +
Gardening in CO can be challenging so we need to be creative, flexible, and well-educated about how to manage specific conditions. In this class, led by professional landscape designer, Desneige Sodano, we will learn about plants that work well in small spaces, under trees in dry shade, and other challenging environments. Arborists from the City Forestry team will be present to answer questions on how to keep your trees healthy when installing low water gardens beneath or adjacent to them. Participants will leave with the knowledge and confidence to transform even the most challenging Colorado outdoor spaces into beautiful, sustainable landscapes. Class Location: 222 Laporte Ave, City of Fort Collins Utilities Building, Colorado River Room on 1st Floor
