Topics in this clinic – how pedaling makes you go, how shifting works, how your brakes work, what are all those cables? Diagnosing problems and doing minor fixes of both of these systems. Maintenance you can do between "major service" at a bike shop. Get a free multi-tool when you attend this clinic, you will get hands-on experience with bicycles, parts, and tools to help you become a more comfortable bicycle owner and operator. Unlike an automobile, bicycle maintenance can be much more approachable and instructors are excited to pass on their experience to you! In this class we will discuss more complex topics of owning and doing basic adjustments on your bicycle . The workshop is intended to allow plenty of time for questions and hands-on experience(s). Location: Garage on 220 N. Howes St., Ste B What to Bring: 1) Your bike (optional) or photos of your bicycle for reference 2) Headlamp (to provide better personal lighting) 3) Clothes that can get dirty 4) Reading glasses for seeing difficult to see details and writing 5) Wear closed-toe shoes
