No art experience required! Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Bring drinking water, a snack if you like, and something to sit on (a stool, jacket, pad, etc.). Feel free to bring your own art supplies or borrow ours. Discover the art materials easiest to use in nature, types of journals, and journaling techniques. Participate in studio and outdoor nature journaling. 0.5 mile; easy Location: Fossil Creek Reservoir Natural Area, meet at the shelter near the parking lot. Do NOT use Google Maps or Map Quest. The entrance to Fossil Creek Reservoir Natural Area is on Carpenter Road/ CR 32, approximately one mile west of I-25, or two miles east of Timberline on the north side of Carpenter Road.
