The LGBTQ+ Summer 2025 activity series is lead in partnership by Natural Areas, Larimer County Natural Resources, and volunteers. These programs are intended to be a safe and welcoming space for members of the LGBTQIA+ community, allies are welcome. Explore the wonders of nature while connecting with your community. Where: Fossil Creek Reservoir When: Thursday July 3rd, 6:00p.m. - 8:00p.m. Program Description: Beginners and veterans welcome! Instruction, focused and guided observations along with drawing, painting, and writing deepen your connections to nature. Learn to use nature journaling techniques to capture the magic of a summer evening in a natural area. Accessibility: Program takes place outside and along an ADA accessible trail with opportunities for shade at the shelter 0.25 miles up the trail. Accessible bathrooms and parking available. Hike of up to 0.5 mile, easy. If you have any questions or concerns about the accessibility of a program, please contact [email protected] or call 970-416-2815 for more information. People with disabilities are welcome to participate in all programs and we are happy to make any appropriate accommodations. Requests for disability-related services can be made during registration through the activity contact or by calling 970-416-2815 at least 2 weeks prior to the start of the activity. What to Bring: Dress appropriately for the weather forecast. Bring sunscreen, a hat if you want one, closed-toe, sturdy shoes for outdoor observations, and plenty of water. Art supplies will be available, but feel free to bring your own as well. Consider bringing something to sit on outside
