Where: Gateway Natural Area. Meet at the shelter closest to the gate leading over the bridge towards the wide, paved trail. When: Friday, may 23rd, 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Activity Description: Five wild members of the dog (canid) family can be found around Colorado. They all have long muzzles, upright ears, carnivore teeth, long legs, and bushy tails. Learn who they are, where you’re likely to see them, what their life is like, and why they are important. Also learn about how you can help protect wildlife habitats. What to bring" Dress appropriately for the weather and bring sunscreen, a hat, and plenty of water. Accessibility: Hike will be 1.5 miles over flat, wide trail. Easy.
