Walking - 9 +

On this short (~1 mile) walking tour near the Poudre River Trail, participants will learn from Fort Collins staff about how our City monitors and protects our local water quality and manages storm water to minimize dangers from urban flooding. The tour will include a stop at the Whitewater Park as an example of a collaborative project that focuses on both human and environmental benefits. Families are welcome to register, even though the event is listed as being for ages 9+. If you are registering for your family and will have people under the age of 9 keep in mind the tour discussions are aimed at those who are over the age of 9. We will meet at the Museum of Discovery 408 Mason Ct.) Participants are encouraged to walk or ride in, but if you do drive you can park anywhere in the parking lot.
