Where: Nix Farm (Natural Areas Office), 1745 Hoffman Mill Road Go north on Lemay from Riverside and turn right on Poudre River Drive (about ½ block north of Riverside). This is located between two medical buildings. Make your first right onto Hoffman Mill Road. Stay on this paved road for almost a mile (past the crushing facility). The road ends at our offices. When: Friday, May 31, 6:30-8:00 pm Program Description: Spend a cozy evening by the campfire, complete with stories and s’mores! These programs are suitable for all ages. I've been an active volunteer in education since 1984 with school field trips, with trail hikes near Oregon's Columbia River Gorge, and with tours at FC's historic Avery House. Besides regularly camping and hiking in Rocky, I've assisted the NAD since 2013 and love learning more of the history, geology, ecology, flora, fauna, and stewardship of our unique northern Front Range region.
