Bill Profile Photo

Bill R - Photographer

I’m a long-time amateur photographer interested primarily in nature: landscapes and wildlife. My wife and I vacationed annually in RMNP for 30+ years until we finally retired and moved to Fort Collins 9 years ago. I’ve delighted in exploring the natural areas in town and Larimer County. I look forward to doing more of it in maybe a more structured way as a volunteer.

David D - Volunteer Naturalist Assistant

My wife and I moved to Fort Collins in the early 1990s to accept faculty positions at Colorado State University. I progressed from assistant to full professor and became department head of chemical and biological engineering in 2006. Research has been an important part of my career at the university, and for the last 10 years it has focused on developing point-of-care diagnostics, similar to at-home covid tests, and doctor's office flu and strep tests.
