Public Engagement Specialist
I am a Public Engagement Specialist with the City of Fort Collins Natural Areas and I organize community programs, programs by request and interpretive communications like signs and brochures. I'm excited to be back in Fort Collins again after being gone for 15 years. My favorite things to talk about are conservation issues, conservation research and raptors!! The black blur in the profile photo is my cattle dog. She never stops moving!
Hi everyone, I'm Lauren! I'm rejoining the Natural Areas team as an environmental education specialist for the 2023 season, after being a public engagement assistant during Summer 2022. I love spending time outside, reading, and meeting new people. I look forward to working with all volunteers! Please reach out to me if you have any questions! :)
¡Hola! I'm Ludy Rueda, a newly appointed Public Engagement Specialist with the City of Fort Collins Natural Areas. Originally from Mexico, I bring a diverse perspective and passion for nature and community engagement. I'll manage diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and partnerships, support public engagement projects, and lead signage and brochure development. My goal is to ensure all community members, regardless of background, feel welcome to enjoy the beauty of our natural areas.
