Come prepared to begin planning your dream landscape in this hands-on workshop with professional landscape designer, Desneige Sodano. You will learn how to evaluate your site’s drainage, soil type, sun exposure, and microclimates. We’ll begin the design process while reviewing how to determine the best areas for landscape conversions, choosing plants that will thrive in your site’s conditions and irrigation basics for xeriscaping. Materials and books provided. If you have a site plan, base map or irrigation map of your property, please bring a printed copy to class as these will help in the design process.
