Earth Day River Clean Up  - Poudre River Trail

Saturday, 20 April 2019 @ 08:00 AM to 11:00 AM

Stewardship Project  -  16 +

Thank you for signing up to help with the 3rd Annual Poudre River Clean up with the City of Fort Collins Natural Areas and Odell Brewery! We are excited to hit the trails for Earth Day! Here are some important things to know before signing up: 1) This event is for community members ages 16 + and no dogs are allowed at this event. 2) Please register each person in your group individually - this will allow us to avoid signing waivers the morning of the event. 3) Due to trail construction - we will be cleaning up along the river from Lemay all the way to I-25. 4) We will be meeting at Odell Brewery and either walking or being shuttled to a natural area along the river. 5) More specific meeting and biking information will be available once you sign up *Don't forget that Odell has PACE Bikes out front! Please meet at the Odell Brewery parking lot (800 E. Lincoln Ave. Fort Collins) between 7:45 and 8:00 am. Volunteers will be given an important safety talk and then split into groups (biking and shuttling) before hitting the trail. Join us at the brewery afterwards for a celebratory beer courtesy of Odell's! *Please note - this event is for volunteers 16+ and, of course, beers are for those 21+. Please reach out to Diane Wendt with any questions (970)224-6153 or [email protected] Thanks!

Volunteer Notes

All 'Lead' volunteers will be meeting ON SITE at a Natural Area, rather than at the brewery. A required training will be held on 4/18 to help prepare for this event.
