The City of Fort Collins is looking for volunteers for our annual Bicyclist and Pedestrian Count this September. This is an exciting opportunity to generate the data needed to prioritize future improvements for those who walk and ride bikes in our community. This project supports our community's commitment to making active transportation a viable transportation option for our growing city. We’re excited to add several new count locations in 2018 featuring the new connector trails to Loveland. This year’s counts are Tuesday Sept 11, Thursday Sept 13, and Saturday Sept 15. We are looking for volunteers to fill a variety of 2-hour shifts at several different intersections and trail locations throughout Fort Collins. Volunteers are more than welcome to work more than one 2-hour shift if they'd like! We are also asking volunteers to attend a brief but required training session September 4 from 6:00PM – 7:30PM. Upon signing up for a shift, you will automatically be signed up for this training session. Food will be provided. Volunteers who complete the counts will also get a chance to win one of many Downtown Business Association gift cards and other prizes!
