No art experience required! Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Bring drinking water, a snack if you like, and something to sit on (a stool, jacket, pad, etc.). Feel free to bring your own art supplies or borrow ours. Practice your art skills on varied media to capture the colors of fall. 0.5 miles; easy. Location: Nix Farm, 1745 Hoffman Mill Rd.

In my career as a journalist, my most enjoyable work has involved the natural world. I became a Master Naturalist in 2017 and am delighted to continue learning about the local ecology and introducing others to its wonders. I also worked for twenty years as a writer-in-residence in Missouri schools, leading creative writing workshops. My degrees are in journalism and French.
