I'm a retired teacher with 44 years classroom experience. I love working with young people and supporting my community. For 15 years I also served on the Big Thompson Canyon Volunteer FD as a wild land and structure firefighter and member of the Rope Rescue Team. I live in a log home on Storm Mountain with my Bernese Mountain Dog, Murren. My four grandchildren enjoy hanging out in the hills with "Gram."

I have lived in Fort Collins since 1990, and fall more in love with it every year. I love exploring the Natural Areas with youngsters and the young at heart! I learn more with each step I take in the Natural Areas, and I look forward to continuing to explore it with you for years to come!

I am a retired college professor. I love to share what I know and to learn new things. I've been an outdoor person my whole life and enjoy almost anything to do with nature. My special love is birds, and have worked to make my yard a haven for birds of many kinds, with a variety of feeders and bird houses.
