Master Naturalists outline the amazing discoveries made at the Lindenmeier site during a 5-year excavation in the 1930s. Then they take you back over 10,000 years to revisit Soapstone when it was a high plains haven for megabeasts and an abundance of plants that supported a rich PaleoIndian culture. Registration is required. Please bring sun and wind protection, water, and closed-toe shoes. Soapstone Prairie is a 1-hour drive from Fort Collins. Meet at the North parking lot.
