Budding Young Naturalists - 8-12 years

Become a Junior Naturalist! Explore, learn, and grow your stewardship skills. Attend all programs and receive Junior Naturalist Certification. One program may be substituted by attending another program in this booklet. Parents/guardians must be present at all times. Siblings are welcome but the activities will be geared towards the stated age group. Organized groups should schedule programs at a separate time; contact AJ, Public Engagement Specialist at 970-221-6118 or [email protected]. The complete list of Junior Naturalist program dates is below. Be sure to register for each one you will attend. This week's adventure is: Writers in the Wild Explore the outdoors while gathering words and ideas to spark your writing creativity! Bring your own nature journal or we will have paper and pens available. Location: North Shields Ponds Directions: The North Shields Ponds Natural Area parking lot is on Shields St, north of Shields/Vine, on the west side of road. The approximate address is 1333 North Shields Street, Fort Collins. Junior Naturalist Program Dates: Thursday, June 13 Thursday, June 27 Thursday, July 11 Thursday, July 25 Thursday, Aug. 8

Maximum Participants: 30
