These informative talks are designed for adults to learn more about research and science related to natural areas. Parking is limited—please carpool, bike, or walk. Bring a snack if you like. Tonight's topic is: Prairie Dogs, Plague, and Black-Footed Ferrets Learn about these dynamic relationships at Soapstone Prairie and hear updates on the ferret population from Natural Areas Land and Water Manager, Daylan Figgs. Location: Nix Farm (Natural Areas Offices), 1745 Hoffman Mill Rd Go north on Lemay from Riverside and turn right on Poudre River Drive (about ½ block north of Riverside). This is located between two medical buildings. After about 1 block, the Poudre River Drive ends and you will see a paved road to your right which is Hoffman Mill Road. Stay on this paved road for almost a mile. The road ends at our offices.
