Become a Junior Naturalist! Explore, learn, and grow your stewardship skills. Attend all programs and receive Junior Naturalist Certification. One program may be substituted by attending another program in this booklet. Parents/guardians must be present at all times. Siblings are welcome but the activities will be geared towards the stated age group. Be sure to register for each one you will attend. This week's adventure is: From Source to Tap Learn about where Fort Collins' water supply is sourced and the journey a drop of water takes to get from the source all the way to the faucet taps in our homes. We will discuss water supply constraints and water supply management techniques, including management techniques that can be applied on an individual level, at home. Gateway Natural Area is great for fishing and hiking, so we encourage you to bring a lunch and stay after the program to eat, hike and/or fish.
