REGISTRATION REQUIRED. This is a limited event. If registration fills, check out one of our virtual events or look for the next event the following month. Please arrive on time. Dress warmly and bring a blanket or chair to sit on. Meet in the parking lot. Pets are not permitted at Fossil Creek Reservoir Natural Area. Please bring binoculars if you have them! It will make star viewing easier. Volunteers from the Northern Colorado Astronomical Society provide telescopes and share their knowledge about the stars, planets, galaxies, and more. We kindly request that unvaccinated or partially vaccinated individuals wear a mask while indoors or when within 6 feet of anyone not in their household group, including the volunteers. Waivers will be required to be signed either online or in person upon arrival. If you or anyone in your household is experiencing symptoms associated with COVID-19 (cough, difficulty breathing, fever, chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, or new loss of taste/smell, etc.) do not attend this program. CancelI have been a resident of Fort Collins for over 30 years. I came to Fort Collins to attend graduate school at CSU. My career in education spans over 30 years. I am currently an adult education instructor with The Learning Source at FRCC. The things I most enjoy doing in the outdoors are camping, hiking, kayaking, and walking. As a certified forest therapy guide, I also enjoy leading forest therapy walks around the Fort Collins community. I love everything Fort Collins has to offer.
