CancelCurrently attending Front Range Community College studying my degree in Wildlife Technolgy. I want to work with wildlife and help protect them. I am trying to get as much experience as I can and learn as much as I can about natural resources. I think teachings kids about natural resources is fun and I love working with kids and helping them learn about the outdoors and what good it is to work in the community.
I worked as an early childhood educator for many years. I have always been intrigued by the natural world. I enjoy gardening.
I am a veterinarian as well as a retired PSD science and physical education teacher. I served a total of twenty years on the Parks and Recreation board. I enjoy teaching and participating in fun activities as well as meeting new friends. I love to do activities with Ivy, my therapy dog. I am an author. My book, Drinking From the Trough: A Veterinarian's Memoir, by can ordered in the usual places. Enjoy! My second book is in the works!
I have a passion for the outdoors and for stewardship of the environment. I love teaching and have been a Montessori teacher and an outdoor educator for years. I look forward to the opportunity to explore Fort Collins Natural Areas with you and to bring my ecological knowledge to the public and school programs!
