Natural Discoveries

Where: Location will be provided after registration, but will be at one of the City of Fort Collins' Natural Areas. This particular hike will take place at a natural area on the west end of town and will require a vehicle to access the trailhead. When: Sunday, September 11, 9:00a.m. - 11:00a.m. Accessibility: Program takes place on dirt trails. Easy to moderate hike on uneven terrain of up to 3 miles. No bathrooms available at the parking lot for this location. What to Bring: Dress appropriately for the weather forecast. Bring sunscreen; a hat; rain gear; closed-toe, sturdy shoes; snacks, and plenty of water. Program Description: Explore natural areas and their importance to our local ecosystems and our own mental health and wellness. Topics will vary. Hikes are intended to be a safe and inclusive space for members of the LGBTQ+ community to gather. Allies are welcome, please be mindful of the safe space. 2-3 miles; easy-moderate. 13+
