Budding Young Naturalists - 3-7 years

THIS PROGRAM IS OFFERED TWICE; Come at either 9:30 a.m. or 11:00 a.m. Bring your little ones (ages 3-7) to learn about nature with stories and hands-on activities. Parent must stay with child during the program. You may bring a picnic lunch or snacks to enjoy afterwards if you like. Free, registration required. Organized groups should schedule programs at a separate time; contact Alex, Community Educator at [email protected] or 970-416-2043 Note: When registering, '# in party' refers to number of children and does not include adults. This adventure is: Animal Hide-n-Seek Animals can blend in without even trying. Discover how camouflage works in the wild.

I am a veterinarian as well as a retired PSD science and physical education teacher. I served a total of twenty years on the Parks and Recreation board. I enjoy teaching and participating in fun activities as well as meeting new friends. I love to do activities with Ivy, my therapy dog. I am an author.
