Elevate your Fort Collins IQ and learn how to create an extraordinary guest experience. The Certified Tourism Ambassador program is a national program that educates the hospitality industry. It includes a pre-read document focusing on Fort Collins’ history and economic information, a 3 ½ hour class, and an open book test for certification. The class focuses on the impact of tourism on our local economy and how we each play a role in that. There is also a customer service component concentrating on exceeding expectations and creating an emotional connection to add value to visitors’ experiences.
