Where: Riverbend Ponds, parking lot on Prospect Rd. (across from Running Deer Natural Area) When: Saturday, April 29, 7:30a.m. - 9:30a.m. Program Description: This is a follow up to the Introduction to Wildlife Photography presentation on March 29 and will offer hands on experience for participants. Participants will have the opportunity to observe and photograph different species of flora and fauna possibly including ducks, raptors, shore birds, herons, squirrels, resident and migrating birds, coyote, and many other residents of this natural area. Participants will learn to use the available lighting and discover different angles for photographing the available wildlife. Accessibility: Program includes walking 2 miles on mostly flat, dirt trails that are occasionally muddy in spring. What to Bring: Dress for the weather and bring water to drink. Wear sunscreen and closed-toe, sturdy shoes. Bring a camera (all levels of cameras are acceptable including the cameras in mobile phones). Other equipment (tripods, monopods, etc) are at the discretion of the participant.

CancelBill was born in Canada where he met his wife Barbara, earned his MD, had 2 sons, served in the Canadian Armed Forces and settled into practicing Family Medicine. He and family then moved to Dallas Texas where they stayed for over 3 decades before settling in Fort Collins in 2019. In the past Bill enjoyed being a Boy Scout leader for 15 years, running camping and canoeing. He has been a Texas Master Naturalist. Bill is happy to be a Volunteer Naturalist for the City of Fort Collins.
Born and raised in New Jersey, (still a Rutgers fan!!). College in Pennsylvania, graduate school in Princeton, NJ, and South Bend, IN. Currently retired. Lived in NJ, Missouri, Wisconsin, New York, Houston, TX, PA, and Ohio. Retired to Fort Collins area in 2021. Hobbies and interests: fly fishing, jazz guitar, wildlife photography. Family: married to Karen, parents of Emily (Denver,CO), and currently sharing home with Benson, our rescue dog.
